March 17th 2012: Had a blast yesterday with Toronto Rapper P.Reign and his Best Friend superstar Celebrity Single Mom son Toronto rapper Drake who is the son of Sandy Graham, one very nice Jewish retired Toronto school teacher. I helped them raise $$ at Spike4Life the Scarborough/Galloway kids boys and girls club in the hood and covered the event for all my blogs.

There was a great celebrity volleyball match with stars from MTV Canada and more. CSM son Drake comes home often to see us. There's my baby KJ who's mentors are Drake and P.Reign More pics at MyYoungToronto's Facebook page tonite These guys make such a difference in the community with the kids as compared to the others with "lip service."

Actress Charlize Theron is a mother: The actress has adopted a child. In a statement to The Associated Press on Wednesday, Theron's publicist said the actress is a "proud mom of a healthy baby boy named Jackson."

No more details were provided.

Theron is from South Africa. This is the actress' first child.

The 36-year-old won an Academy Award for her role as serial killer Aileen Wuornos in 2003's "Monster."

She was also nominated for an Oscar for 2005's "North Country." She next stars as an evil queen in "Snow White and the Huntsman."

UPDATE 3/16/12: The Oscar-winning actress told Ryan Seacrest this morning on his radio show that her son, now four months old, surprised her most with his love of "swaddling," a practice she likened torture before becoming a mom.

"I didn't think I would be a fan of the swaddling, but the swaddling is pretty amazing," she said. "At first it looks like a straight jacket and you just feel like its child abuse, but they love it."

According to Radar Online, Cook’s wife Paula has taken her wayward husband back.

Paula and Antwaun both ended up at Club RE:Public in Charlotte over the weekend and things got a little cozy between the two,” the source said. “I don’t know where Fantasia was, but she definitely wasn’t in the club where they were!”

CSM Angelina Jolie's kids Shiloh, Zahara and Maddox are all about the same size now but nothing as compared to the size of the dog they are walking. Dennis Quaid's wife, Kimberly Buffington-Quaid, is ending their marriage.

According to court papers obtained by TMZ.com, Buffington-Quaid says she is filing for divorce because things have "become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities."

In a statement released to Extra on Friday a rep for the actor said, "We can confirm that Kimberley Quaid has filed for divorce. Contrary to what has been reported, a satisfactory settlement is being worked out for both parties."

The couple, who wed in 2004, have 4-year-old twins, Thomas Boone and Zoe Grace together.

NEW CSM HEIDI KLUM SAYS SHE WANTS TO PROTECT HER KIDS.

The last few months haven't been easy for Heidi Klum, who split from Seal, her husband of seven years, in January. But she's trying her best to keep her head up. 

"I feel like I'm in the eye of a tornado," she tells Elle in its April issue. "Sometimes I think a curve ball just comes at you. Instead of something straight that you can catch, it hits you in the head from the side that you didn't expect." 

Klum, 38, understands that the couple's separation seemed sudden – but she tells the magazine that things in her marriage with the singer, 49, weren't always what they seemed.

HOW IS BRIDGET MOYNAHAN DOING WITH TOM BRADY'S SON. KEEP THAT KID AWAY FROM ANGRY GISELLE'S SUPERBOWL WOES.

 

They've had rocky patches, but Bridget Moynahan says she and Tom Brady – along with his wife Gisele Bündchen – have managed to create a stable family for their son, 3½-year-old John Edward Thomas.

"I never made a comment about Gisele or Tom publicly," Moynahan, who graces the March cover of More, tells the magazine.

"I have a relationship with these people on a daily basis. I'm raising a child, and it's public. The media creates these dramas, and that's not what's happening in my life."

And, she adds, that the blended family is going well. "My son has two loving parents and an extended family, whether it's cousins or stepmothers or boyfriends. My son is surrounded by love."

Still, Moynahan, who turns 40 in April, admits being a single mom has been tough, starting with the birth itself in August 2007.

"[Tom] was not in the [delivery] room," says Moynahan, who had already splitfrom Brady when she discovered she was pregnant at two months along after experiencing irregular periods. "He was there on that day and came in afterwards. He certainly wasn't holding my hand while I pushed."

Relying on her parents and friends for support, she recalls "hyperventilating" with anxiety after giving birth: "Every time my dad mentioned he had to go [home to Massachusetts], I'd start crying."

Even though she doesn't believe "any girl grows up dreaming of being a single mom," she also stresses, "There's not a second I regret having a child on my own."

Rocker Courtney Love has given her blessing to Eric Erlandson's book about her late husband Kurt Cobain, as long as he leaves out details of the Hole co-stars' short-lived romance.

Erlandson has written a poetry book about the tragic Nirvana star, and the work is due to hit stores next month.

Love, who fell out her former Hole bandmate over the use of the group's name, has surprisingly sanctioned the book - on condition Erlandson plays down their brief romantic involvement.

She tells the New York Daily News, "I wish him well. Even more than (Nirvana rockers) Dave (Grohl) and (Krist) Novoselic, Eric was family... I just hope he didn't write that we dated. We had sex, yes, but I don't date.

LeBron James' first order of business in 2012: Drop to one knee and ask longtime girlfriend Savannah Brinson to be his wife. Yes, she said yes. Moments after ringing in the new year, James surprised his high school sweetheart by popping the question — letting very few people in on the secret beforehand. He did it at a party both to celebrate New Year's Eve and his 27th birthday.

"My girl, she's very excited," James said Sunday night after he and the Miami Heat beat Charlotte 129-90. "She would love to answer more questions about it than me. But she's happy, my family's happy and that's what it's about."

With a number of teammates and close friends looking on, James pulled off a bit of a sneak attack. He and Brinson had discussed marriage in the past, but amid the din of ringing in 2012, she didn't expect the two-time NBA MVP to get on bended knee at that moment.

James and Brinson are the parents of two sons which still makes her a CSM.

No wedding date has been announced.

"It should be a surprise for any woman anytime something like that happens," James said. "She was surprised. It was great that all the friends and family were there to bring in a new year. Even my kids were happy about it, so that's good. ... I feel good. I feel good. It's a good point in my life right now."

IS DEBBIE ROWE SO ISOLATED FROM MICHAEL JACKSON'S CHILDREN?

Recently, the Jackson kids were at the Garuman Chinese theater to mold their father's glove and shoe into immortality and history. The kids including the youngest boy Blanket all live with their grandmother Katherine Jackson and were joined by Justin Bieber, Smoky Robinson and the rest of the family. Debbie was absent.

HALLE BERRY'S BABY FATHER WANTS TO BE SUPPORTED BY THE MOM.

Gabriel Aubry wants his 3-year-old daughter Nahla to live in surroundings to which she has become accustomed ... and he wants Halle to pay dearly for it.

TMZ has learned what Gabriel wants in the way of $$ -- and it's a lot. We've learned Aubry has filed legal docs asking the family law judge to force Halle to give him $15,000 - $20,000 a month for a proper home.

Gabriel has also asked for a laundry list of other things from Halle, including what we're told is a "very large" amount of money for the little girl's clothing, as well as money to take the child to Canada to visit his family.

We're told Halle is fighting Gabriel tooth and nail on his request. The hearing on the money issues was scheduled for Monday, but it's now been put off until April 9, in part because the family law judge wants to see what the dependency judge does to Gabriel.

If the dependency judge takes away some of Gabriel's custody rights, it would have an impact on any child support Halle would have to fork over.

SMH on this madness. I hope they don't hurt this little girl!!

DINA LOHAN MUST BE PLEASED ABOUT LINDSAY'S COMEBACK ON SNL.

Saturday Night Live regular Taran Killam has come to the defence of CSM Dina Lohan's daughter Lindsay after critics slammed her latest hosting gig on the hit U.S. comedy show at the weekend.

The Mean Girls star proved she was a good sport as she poked fun at her legal woes, drug problems and lesbian past in numerous funny sketches, although she struggled to remember some of her lines and completely botched a skit in which she tried to scare young delinquents straight by telling them that petty theft is a path that ends "in rehab".

Critics pounced on her mediocre performance, but Killam insists Lohan handled the hosting stint well.

He tells People.com, "She was fantastic and really a good sport. She let us go there, and we tried to handle it as gently as possible. She was the one who was, like, 'Go to town!' She really wants to turn it around, and she was great. I was surprised. She was a real trooper."

Fellow SNL regular Bobby Moynihan was also impressed with Lohan's comedy turn and improvisational skills.

He says, "She started throwing stuff in. It was a hip-hop morning-show sketch, and at one point, she just took the microphone and said, 'Preach!' I was, like, 'What? Go Lindsay!' She really wanted to do a good job, and I think she did it... She was super nice, very calm and normal."

Lohan, who has hosted SNL three times before, had hoped the TV appearance would help to restore her professional reputation after a slew of run-ins with the law and a series of stints in jail and rehab - and Killam is confident she will be able to revive her career.

He adds, "I think enough people want her to. I think there's an energy that's pushing for that."

Lohan's Saturday Night Live episode has already been deemed a big ratings hit - it was the second-highest rated episode of the season.

As for Dina, I'm sure she was impressed with her daughter. I loved that "Real Housewives of Disney" skit.

DID MADONNA JUST "DISS" EX HUBBY GUY RITCHIE IN HER LATEST SINGLE?

Madonna has reportedly opened up about her ex-husband Guy Ritchie in a song on her new album which features lyrics about a failed marriage.

The Material Girl wed the film director in 2000, but they divorced in 2008, and the superstar is now said to have included candid lyrics about their life together in a new song called I Don't Give A... for her upcoming MDNA record.

Madonna sings, "I tried to be a good girl / I tried to be your wife / Diminished myself / And I swallowed my light / I tried to become all / That you expect of me / And if it was a failure / I don't give a..."

The singer's agent Liz Rosenberg tells New York Post gossip column PageSix, "I have not heard Madonna explain whether the lyrics are autobiographical or not. She doesn't often explain lyrics to her songs, and she did have a few writing collaborators.

"I can only confirm that the response from the music press who heard the album was really exciting. They seemed to love it."

OPRAH WINFREY TO INTERVIEW BOBBY KRISTINA BROWN AND THE REST OF LATE SINGLE MOM WHITNEY HOUSTON'S FAMILY.

The other day the talk show host was being bashed about her appealing to viewers to subscribe to her failing TV network OWN. Now comes word that Oprah will be interviewing Whitney's daughter and family on her recent death. That should get people scrambling to get OWN on their cable line up. I already get it on Canada's Rogers Cable

"Oprah's Next Chapter" will feature an interview with 18-year-old Bobbi Kristina, Houston's only child, as well as Patricia Houston, her sister-in-law and manager and the singer's brother Gary. It is scheduled to air next Sunday March 10th.

Houston was found dead in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif., on Feb. 11. An exact cause of death has yet to be determined. Oprah attended Houston's funeral in Newark, N.J., last month.

Houston was 48 years old. Krissy turns 19 this Sunday March 4th.

Ok so you've probably heard that Demi Moore is ending her marriage to Ashton Kutcher.

They are ending their marriage after six years, breaking up one of the most widely followed May-December romances Hollywood has seen.The marriage between Moore, 49, and Kutcher 33, has been in trouble since late September when a San Diego woman went public about a brief affair she had with Kutcher, a star on CBS television comedy “Two and a Half Men,” during a weekend of partying in the southern California city.

“It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton. As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life,” Moore said in a statement.

MEET PATTIE MALLETTE: KID SINGER JUSTIN BEIBER'S MOM.

Justin Bieber was born in Stratford, Ontario, and was raised by his single mother, Pattie Mallette. He was 12 years old when he entered a local singing competition in Stratford, placing in second. He taught himself how to play the piano, drums, guitar, and trumpet. In late 2007 Justin and his mother began posting videos on YouTube so that his family and friends that could not attend his performances would be able to view them, posting his cover versions of songs by Usher Chris Brown, Stevie Wonder, Justin Timberlake, Ne-Yo and more. Scooter Braun, a former marketing executive of So So Def, discovered his videos, and flew Bieber to Atlanta, Georgia, where he met with R&B singer/songwriter Usher.

A week later Bieber had the opportunity to sing for Usher who immediately became greatly interested, giving him an audition with Antonio L.A. Reid at Island Records who signed him to Island Records in October 2008. Justin Timberlake was reportedly in the running to sign Bieber, but he eventually signed with Usher. Bieber and his mother, Pattie Malette then moved to Atlanta, also the home of Usher and Braun, to base his career. Bieber also stated in an interview he still frequently stays at his Stratford home. I hope to interview him later this year.

JAMIE LYNN SPEARS REPORTEDLY DATING OLDER MAN 10 YEARS OLDER TOO...

Jamie Lynn Spears has split from the father of her baby and is dating a new man 10 years her senior - according to online reports.

A report on StarMagazine.com suggests Britney's little sister ditched Casey Aldridge in December and has been romancing 28-year-old businessman James Watson.

Jamie Lynn,18, provoked a storm of controversy back in 2007 when she revealed she and Aldridge were expecting a child - daughter Maddie, who is now 19 months old.

But that love affair came to an end last year, reportedly sending the teenage actress into the arms of Watson, who owns his own communications company near Spears' Louisiana hometown.

A source tells Star, "They started dating last December. I don't think James cares at all about who she is; they really seem to like each other."
